Spring has sprung, and what is our favorite part of Spring? Birdathon!
Birdathon is officially underway, but you still have plenty of time to get a team together and plan your big day outing.
Birdathon helps ASNV to support outdoor education, citizen science, habitat conservation, and programs to encourage people to plant native plants and protect native wildlife. Birdathon also helps ornithologists better understand spring migration by reporting sightings through eBird, an online database of bird observations run by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Check out these tips on how to see as many species as possible in one day! We now have 5+ teams so please visit our team list and make a donation to your favorite team.
