Hi John, it's Anderson Clayton, Chair of North Carolina Democrats!
I'm reaching out because Kansas and North Carolina have one major thing in common: Our work as party committees goes far beyond the next election.
While we fight for majorities this November, we're also making investments and building the groundwork in states where progress can BREAK GOP supermajorities and create new, Democratic majorities in the future.
With help from folks like you, we can keep growing and producing real results in states like ours. Before I tell you more about the strategies we can use in both states to loosen the far-right's grip on our government, I have a favor to ask. Would you chip in whatever you can today to support common-sense Democrats in Kansas and North Carolina? [[link removed]]
SPLIT A DONATION [[link removed]]
North Carolina and Kansas are both huge targets for growing a grassroots coalition of Democrats , despite the power of the right-wing politicians in our states – even the DLCC says so!

With big wins in both states (like blocking abortion-restricting bills in Kansas and expanding Medicaid in North Carolina), we have to take advantage of the momentum caused by folks abandoning far-right extremism.
That's why the NC Dems are promoting common-sense solutions to issues for everyone, like fair wages, expanded medicaid, secure voting rights, protected public schools, and more.
But just adopting those positions isn't enough, John – people in the state have to know our plans for success, and we have to take clear, tangible actions to make our organization seem strong and our mission seem viable.
That's why the North Carolina Democratic Party promoted common sense leadership (starting with electing the youngest serving State Party Chair, me ☺️) and has wholly dedicated to putting full-time staff on the ground to assist county parties, collaborate with local governments and organizations to enrich our communities, and keep folks aware of changes and revelations with digital and physical communications.
Mobilizing individuals and enhancing party operations are going to be key to taking Kansas and North Carolina to the next level, and we've got to start working together now if we want to see results this fall.
John, it's going to take a lot of work (and funding) to break these supermajorities in Kansas and North Carolina, but our collective support will make all the difference in flipping seats and passing common-sense policy no matter where we are! Can you join me and the Kansas Democrats today by splitting a donation between our organizations? [[link removed]]
