Hi John,
Our first major fundraising reporting deadline is on May 1st, so I wanted to take a moment to explain what that means and why it is so important.
Candidates running for Denver District Attorney are legally required to report how much money they’ve raised and how much of that money comes from small donations from people across Denver and across Colorado.
Everyone looks at these reports – from the press to our opponents to potential supporters.
That’s why when we file our report before the June 25th primary, we need to demonstrate that this campaign is built on grassroots donors and is continuing to build momentum each day.
If we can file a good report with lots of donors, we’re that much closer to having a successful primary election – which means we’re that much closer to fighting violent crime, addressing the fentanyl epidemic, dramatically reducing car theft, and most importantly building the trust of our community in our law enforcement.
So, John, can you contribute $10, $25, or even $50 to help me hit my fundraising goal?
