Dear Neighbors,  

A huge thank you to everyone who came out for my first community office hour this session! Your participation makes these events truly valuable. We had a productive discussion about environmental justice initiatives the Minnesota House and I are working on.

Here are some of the key areas we focused on: 


* Waste management (incinerator, anerobic digestor) 
* Updates from Climate and Energy bills passed, DFL agenda 
* Renewable energy (solar, geothermal, etc.) 
* Geothermal bill 
* Water quality (lead testing) 
* How to do lead water testing in St. Paul 
* Copper Wire bill 

As we close out the 2024 session, my commitment to Minnesota's environment remains unwavering. I'll continue to champion environmental justice efforts, tackling issues like excessive e-waste in landfills, advocate for funding to support a smooth transition to clean energy for all Minnesotans, promote conservation efforts, and push for stronger protections of our vital water and soil resources.

*Post-Legislative Town Hall*

If you were unable to make the community office hour, no problem! I will be hosting a formal end-of-session Town Hall [ [link removed] ] meeting on *Tuesday, May 28, 2024*, at the *North Dale Recreation Center*. We will discuss the historic 2023 legislative session and inform residents about the progress of the 2024 session, receive feedback, and field questions from constituents.         

Here are the details:  

Time: 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM 

Date: Tuesday, May 28, 2024 

Location: North Dale Recreation Center, 1414 St Albans St N, St Paul, MN 55117 

Everyone is welcome to this non-partisan town hall event. Unable to make it? Don't worry! I'll be hosting additional town halls across the district to connect with you and hear your concerns. Stay tuned for future announcements with specific dates and locations.
