Bring the family to the Fort Kearny Expo
Looking for ways to get outdoors with your family, spend time together and have fun? Join us for the Fort Kearny Expo on Saturday, May 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Hosted at beautiful Fort Kearny State Recreation Area, this event offers hands-on activities of all kinds, including fishing, archery, kayaking, outdoor cooking, camping, target shooting and more.
Don't forget to take a breather and check out the Teddy Roosevelt reenactment, visit the aquatic touch tank, and challenge yourself with the climbing wall and ropes course. Participants can also munch on gourmet s'mores and roast hot dogs.
For a relaxing day of learning and connecting with loved ones, come experience the Fort Kearny Expo. All activities are free, but you will need a park entry permit to get in. Skip the lines and buy one ahead of time online.
