DPD needs to move from 3,000 to 4,000 police officers ASAP.

Safe streets are a civil right.High crime is anti-family and anti-child.
VOTE NOW: Proposition F Could Transform Dallas

Early voting has begun! The City of Dallas has many issues before its
residents on the ballot this year, but one of the most important bonds
you will vote on is concerning a police training facility.

The passage of

a new police training facility. Dallas Police Department (DPD) has been
operating as understaffed for years, and any new developments that help
streamline new officers will have an immediate positive effect on the
streets.

worsened over time, yet City leaders remain deaf to the people's pleas.
DPD’s staffing issues and the immediate consequences of

For DPD to function properly, the department will need to grow by more
than a thousand police officers—a hefty investment for the City but one
that has become severely needed. Dallas residents now have the
opportunity to sidestep their failing leaders and create a positive
impact in the City’s fight against crime.

Unfortunately, there are

-50m-cop-city-dallas-bond-package/ radical anti-police movements in the
city that are working to stop the passage of this bond for public
safety. It is up to people like you to stand firm in your convictions

Supreme Court to debate Urban Camping Ban

The Supreme Court will weigh in on “urban camping” bans in many states.
Texas is one of them; vagrancy is illegal in Dallas as well. It is
imperative the Supreme Court makes the right call to allow enforcement
of these bans. If not, the floodgates will open on vagrancy in Dallas.

DPD Launches New Crime Fighting Program

DPD has launched a new crime-fighting program to alleviate longer
response times that have arisen due to the staffing shortage. Any work
that DPD can do to reduce crime and make the city safer is a major win!

Fatal Stabbing Incident at Loop 12

Dallas has only become more dangerous! A stabbing took place at an
intersection on Loop 12 in broad daylight. Details remain limited as DPD
investigates. City Council must reconsider its commitment to public
safety if Dallas is ever to thrive again!

Tracking Illegal Camps:

[link removed] Executive Director Joseph Porter broadcasts
on Facebook Live each week, documenting vagrant camps in the city and
bringing you real-time updates on the state of homelessness and the
apathetic response from Dallas city officials. This week, Joseph went
live from the Loop 12 underpass at Joe’s Creek. The encampment has only
become worse since we last covered it.

District 13 Councilwoman Gay Donnell Willis

"Collector’s Bounty Camp"

This camp in Gay Donnell Willis’s District 13 has been dubbed
“Collector's Bounty Camp.” In this underpass, the vagrant has created an
eccentric garbage collection of which they are proud. We ban urban
camping because vagrants steal public spaces and make them look
disgusting like this. Join us in calling for the City Council to begin
ENFORCING this ban!

 District 2 Councilman Jesse Moreno

"City Hall Hubris Camp"

We named this camp in Jesse Moreno’s District 2, “City Hall Hubris
Camp.” This camp sits just behind City Hall. City Council ignores the
vagrancy problem; all they need to do is look around and see the state
of Dallas! It is time for the status quo to change regarding
homelessness in the city!

 District 11 Councilwoman Jaynie Schultz's

"Trash Ramp Camp"

We named this camp in Jaynie Schultz’s District 11, “Trash Ramp Camp.”
These camps only dirty up our city; residents should no longer tolerate
criminal vagrants stealing these spaces and making their neighborhoods
dangerous and dirty! Dallas leaders have the opportunity to choose a
better path!

Statement:

Keep Dallas Safe exists to address crime and homelessness in Dallas with
the goal of transforming Dallas into the safest large city in Texas for
residents and businesses. We aim to have a City Council that prioritizes
crime rate which directly determines the quality of life in Dallas. We
do this by fighting against the "defund the police" movement, holding
accountable our city leaders' efforts towards lowering district crime
rates, and highlighting our city's homelessness problems by pushing for
enforcement of the prohibition of urban camping.
