Earlier this year, Bernie hauled Pharma executives in front of the Senate’s Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee to question executives on how they could continue running businesses that make it impossible for people to afford drugs they need to survive.
Bernie said recently on Big Pharma corporations, “Their business model is not about how they can save and improve the lives of as many people as possible — it is about maximizing profit. And that is something that should offend everyone.”
