Hi there,
We are counting down the days to the GGWash Sweet Sixteen! Every few hours I compulsively refresh our sales tracker to see if any one else has bought a ticket.
We are super close to selling out (only 20 tickets left!) but ticket sales close Sunday at midnight so I won't find out until Monday morning how we do. If you've been procrastinating, grab those tickets now before its too late.
Read on to learn about other upcoming events and use this link to check out our upcoming family friendly meet-up at Maketto, it works this time, I promise. |

Celebrate GGWash's Sweet Sixteen
Tuesday, April 30, 6:00pm-9:00pm Pearl Street Warehouse, 33 Pearl Street SW, Washington, DC
GGWash turns sixteen this year! But we won’t be getting our driver's license any time soon. Instead, we’re throwing a party to celebrate the work we've done together. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year -- generating about 10 percent of our annual budget. Join us for a great night out and help set the stage for our next 16 years. Tickets include event admission, drinks, and food. |
GGWash's Family Friendly Capitol Hill Happy Hour Thursday, May 16, 5:30pm-7:30pm
Maketto, 1351 H St NE, Washington, DC
Each month, GGWash picks a local business to host our rotating monthly meet-ups. In May we are headed to Maketto on H St for some community-building on Capitol Hill. Families are welcomed and encouraged to attend. Join us to connect with other folks who think that cities should be for people, not for cars, and who want to see more housing, more affordable housing, and the land-use regulations necessary to support the above—plus, hear what GGWash is working on, and what you can do to get involved. This link leads to the RSVP page for the Capitol Hill Happy Hour.

| Do we have the right address for you?
We periodically ask you to confirm your address so that we can reach out to you about specific housing developments, transportation projects, volunteer opportunities, electoral work, or any other number of other things that are relevant because you live close to where they're happening. Check what we've got on file here and update it if it's not correct.
