John xxxxxx,
Our health care workers in New York and across the country are putting their lives on the line every day — often without the protective equipment they need and deserve. Still, they don't stop risking their lives to save ours.
Let's be clear: this is a public health crisis, but it's also a crisis of leadership. Instead of rushing resources to support our heroes on the front lines, Trump accused health care workers of stealing personal protective equipment out the back door of New York hospitals.
Our health care workers deserve so much better than that. Show your gratitude this National Public Health Week to all the workers fighting on the front lines of this crisis by signing our thank you card today.

Across the country right now, people are stepping up to save lives — by staying home, by working around the clock in hospitals, by keeping people fed, and more. The last thing people should be worrying about is having their president pull their health care out from under them.
But by refusing to reopen the HealthCare.gov marketplace, Trump has made it clear that Americans without health insurance are on their own. The good news is that many states, including New York, have opened special enrollment periods for their residents to sign up.
It's time for the Trump administration to stop playing politics and start saving lives. Doctors, nurses, and mayors are pleading for help fast, but they can't contend with the GOP's sabotage tactics.
Hakeem is fighting to hold the Trump administration accountable to deliver the resources Congress provided in a timely and effective manner to everyone on the front lines. Take a moment to say thank you and let health care workers know how much you appreciate them.
