I'm Jodi Habush Sinykin. Last year, I nearly flipped a gerrymandered district in a special election.

We laid the infrastructure to win in Senate District 8, and now we've got new, fair maps – it's officially time to get the State Senate back on track for the people of Wisconsin.

Wisconsinites deserve a leader who will take action to protect our community, our economy, and our children’s futures.

Whereas right now Republicans maintain a veto-proof majority in our Wisconsin Senate, with the new, fairer maps, we can actually win enough seats for Democrats to take the lead and move Wisconsin on a path forward – to protect women’s right to choose and healthcare access, to lower taxes, ensure the safety of our communities, maintain our state’s schools and university system, and preserve our state’s beautiful natural resources.

The future of Wisconsin depends on races like mine, Friend.

I understand the challenges facing our Wisconsin families. I’m a born-and-raised Wisconsinite, a small business owner, a mother of four, an attorney, and an active member of the community. I’ve testified in front of the State Legislature and worked productively with elected officials – on both sides of the aisle – to protect our families, businesses, and environment.

And in all that work, I relied upon facts and respect for others to guide my actions – not the influence of special interests.

Right now, far-right legislators aligned with deep-pocketed donors are threatening our democracy – targeting women, students, families, and so many others. Last election WI Republicans were able to maintain a supermajority in the State Senate, which posed a critical threat to Governor Ever’s ability to veto harmful bills, but with new fairer maps, we have a chance at flipping the 8th State Senate District and getting the representation we deserve.

Friend, I want to give your voice power at the table where decisions are made. I want our community to have a leader representing your best interests while bringing my business and policy expertise to the Capitol.

But I can't do this without folks like you.

We need you to support our grassroots movement to ensure that our community has an experienced advocate in the State Legislature.
