John, I’m doing some lesson prep while my students are at recess right now, but I had to take a moment to email you about the importance of our work at Teachers Unify to End Gun Violence.
We’re the only teacher-led non-profit actively working to end gun violence by amplifying the firsthand voices of educators.
It’s hard to juggle teaching 4th graders, fundraising, and training educators to be advocates. But it’s worth every double-booked minute – and it’s already working.
Our movement is growing fast, but honestly, we need to raise more money.
Because while we’re empowering educators to help end gun violence, the gun lobby is actively working to stop any progress, all while making it easier to access firearms.
We can’t let the gun lobby win. But we’re teachers, not professional fundraisers. Our work is powered by everyday people like you, giving a few bucks at a time.
So I’m counting on 300 people to join our movement and fund our fight, and we’ll take care of the rest. Can you donate $25 to help empower our coalition of teachers and school staff to end gun violence in our schools? >>
Thank you,
Abbey Clements
