Looks like there’s going to be a new $24.15 charge on your
electrical bill, thanks to the Newsom Administration.
Democrat lawmakers ordered Newsom’s Public Utilities Commission to
add a “fixed charge” to SDG&E, PG&E, and SCE customers. Even
worse, Democrats gave Newsom’s Commission the power to increase the
charge as often as they like!
$24.15 today could easily turn into $100
tomorrow!
Earlier this week, I tried to stop this unfair money grabbing
scheme with my Cost
of Living Reduction Act. Unsurprisingly, the same Democrats who
ordered the new charge shamefully
rejected my proposal.
The new electricity charge is a perfect example of why we are
fighting so hard to take back the majority. Democrats control the
Legislature, the governor, and every statewide office. And they use
their power to sneakily squeeze every penny out of Californians while
they run this state into the ground.
As your Senate Republican Leader, I’m bringing you weekly updates
from Sacramento to EXPOSE the Democrat majority, their failed
policies, and their broken promises.
Our movement is growing. For the first time in years, Republicans
are positioned to gain 4 seats in the California
