There's something wrong with the way Donald Trump communicates with the American people -- and I'm not just talking about his tweets.

A president should listen, be respectful, and answer questions truthfully. That's how we did it in the Obama White House, but you and I both know that's not how Trump's administration operates.

We can't expect things from this White House to get better, and we definitely can't count on Trump to delete his Twitter account. But what we can do is help Democrats regain a majority in Congress to stop the worst of what's to come from the Trump administration.

I am asking you directly to chip in $3 to help Democrats win elections nationwide this November -- it's the best way to fight back against the Trump administration.

If Democrats take back the House this year, they'd regain subpoena power in Congress -- which would make a huge difference. Committees -- led by Democrats in Congress -- could finally get to work asking the difficult questions of this White House, and require Trump officials to answer those questions under oath.

It's sad that it's come to this, but there is a real path to restoring transparency and accountability in our government -- but it will only happen if we mobilize voters, win elections, and regain majorities in November. So I'm asking you today:
