Here's what happened at the Supreme Court on Wednesday.

NARAL Pro-Choice America recently changed its name to Reproductive Freedom for All. Our name may be new, but our mission of protecting and expanding reproductive freedom remains the same.

Reproductive Freedom for All | Formerly NARAL Pro-Choice America

Yesterday the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments in Idaho v. United States and Moyle v. United States, which will determine whether states can deny emergency abortion care to pregnant people.

If the Court sides with extremists, that would mean excluding pregnant people from the right to treatment for emergency medical conditions—creating devastating effects in states with abortion bans, but could also have ripple effects in states where abortion is still available.

Anti-abortion extremists are doing whatever it takes to ban and restrict abortion across the country. They're using the courts to gut our rights at whatever cost—saying they'd rather let pregnant people suffer than be provided with life-saving care. Join us in calling for court reform: Add your name now.

One thing we want to make crystal clear: All pregnant people should have the right to the health care they need, including emergency abortion care, and we won't stop until we achieve reproductive freedom for everybody.

COURT REFORM NOW

In Idaho and other states across the country, pregnant people are already being turned away from hospitals, unable to get the emergency care they need. Being denied care has resulted in increased maternal health complications and negative, long-term health effects including loss of future fertility.

Join us in fighting for a future where WE make the decisions about our bodies: Add your name to demand court reform.

We expect a decision on this Supreme Court case sometime this summer, so stay tuned for more soon.
