In 10 days, thousands of Arab Americans will come together nationwide for a day of service. On Saturday, May 4, we will unite to make a positive difference in our local communities, and we need YOUR help to make the greatest impact!

National Arab American Service Day (NAASD) is a project of the National Network for Arab American Communities (NNAAC), a national institution of ACCESS that includes 34 Arab American community-based member organizations in 12 states. They work together to build institutions and elevate the voice of Arab Americans across the country.

The goal of Service Day is for community members in various states to give back to their communities through service that can foster a culture of leadership, community engagement, and volunteerism. This year’s 18th Annual NAASD will bring together Arab American community organizations from different states seeking to establish local partnerships and organize unique community projects. These include neighborhood beautifications such as park cleanups, youth community service activities for high school and college students, an Arab American Heritage Month celebration, and much more, all under the theme of Serving Communities, Connecting People.

Over 1,500 volunteers, including 250 from Southeast Michigan, will participate in Service Day. Your donation will help ensure that this year’s participants have the resources and tools necessary to carry out the projects in their respective communities.
