Dear John,
I wanted to be sure you saw Julia’s Earth Day email, because the Global Plastics Treaty negotiating session is happening now and it’s a once in a generation opportunity to stem plastic pollution. We need your support so that Plastic Pollution Coalition can continue to be at these sessions, pushing for a strong, binding treaty that changes the course of history.
We need a comprehensive treaty that prioritizes human health, rights, and our environment and we need it now. Help us make it happen by donating today.

Dear Friend,
It’s Earth Day and the Plastic Pollution Coalition team is in Ottawa for the UN Plastics Treaty negotiating sessions pushing for a stronger treaty. Will you chip in to help Plastic Pollution Coalition continue to be at these meetings advocating for a legally binding treaty that covers the full life cycle of plastics? We need to be there representing our Coalition, and in solidarity with the movement, doing all we possibly can, to make sure that this treaty makes a real
difference.
This is the fourth of only five negotiating sessions for the UN Plastic Treaty, and it’s our best chance to solve the plastic pollution crisis – but we have to push the United States government to lead negotiations for a strong, visionary treaty that includes significant upstream measures to reduce plastic creation and usage. If the treaty is weak, it will accomplish little, and be a huge lost opportunity. With your support, we
can double our efforts to demand this treaty be robust and comprehensive, and prioritize human health.
Plastic pollution is a planetary crisis, impacting our health and our environment. The time to act is now. By donating today, in honor of Earth Day, you will help do something about it, working together towards a world free of plastic pollution and its toxic impacts!
