I had to review some tough updates today about our must-win Senate race – and because I know you care as much as I do about protecting our Senate majority, I'm going to be brutally honest with you: 

Becoming the fourth Black woman to serve in the United States Senate will be an uphill battle. My self-funding opponent cut his campaign a check for nearly a million dollars. 

Meanwhile, Black women raise on average one-third of what their white counterparts do. If we want any chance at keeping Delaware and the Senate blue, then we need to spread the message of our campaign far and wide.
