Join us in celebrating National Youth Violence Prevention Week!
It’s National Youth Violence Prevention Week!
In a perfect world, we wouldn’t need this week. But gun violence is the leading cause of death for children. For Black kids, it’s been the leading cause of death for two decades.
This is the future we’re inheriting and Gen Z refuses to accept that. So this week we’re organizing with young people across the country to organize for a future where gun violence is obsolete. We’re building a world where all of us can live free of gun violence, and thrive. Can you chip in to support our work?
To kick us off, I’m co-hosting a national call today with our friends at Cities United and leaders across the country and across the movement to talk about strategies that stop gun violence at its root. We’re brimming with ideas, but we need your help to bring them to life.
P.S. Want to join us today at 7pm ET to learn from leaders across the country who are using community violence intervention and public health strategies to combat gun violence? RSVP here!
