We Couldn't Do This Without You!!!     IT TAKES A VILLAGE As Mother’s Day approaches, we reflect on the incredible impact mothers have on our lives and the invaluable role they play in shaping our future. As a mom and a grandma, I know how important it is to have a strong support system. It takes a village to raise a child. This is true. But it also takes a village to raise up a mother. Mothers are doing the hardest job there is in raising the next generation. This is not a solitary journey; it takes the community banning together with love, support, and guidance. Whether it’s the advice from a wise grandmother, the helping hand of a trusted neighbor, or the encouragement from fellow parents. Mothers draw strength from the people around them.   Unfortunately, the young women who come to Mother’s Refuge don’t have a village – in fact, they have no support system, no safe place to call home, and are in a vulnerable situation with a child that depends on them. That is where Mother’s Refuge steps in. We build villages. We become their village. But this is only possible with your help. You have the opportunity to be the village our moms never had but desperately need... Are you in?
