This week, we honor Workers' Memorial Day observed on April 28th, a day that originated from the labor movement's fight for safer workplaces and became a national day of remembrance in 1970 when the Occupational Safety and Health Act was passed.

There are two special events to honor and commemorate those who have passed away due to death or illness on the job. Workers will call for protections as a fundamental right and highlight the need for workers to have the right to organize in their workplaces to win safer working conditions and a better life.

Join Jobs with Justice via Zoom for a virtual gathering to remember workers burt, killed, or exposed to toxic environments. We'll hear from workers and loved ones to help energize our fight to bring more awareness and activism to workplace health and safety rights.
