During his year-long medical journey that was filled with chemotherapy, surgery, radiation and immunotherapy, Luke’s parents would take him to the nearby coastline. He loves the ocean, so these visits always brought him peace.
When the time came to make his wish, Luke longed to go to a beach he had never visited before. So that’s exactly what he did on his wish day. It was an experience spent soaking in the sand and surf, riding jet skis and even catching a beach sunrise. But most importantly, it was an experience filled with peace, laughter and joy for a kid who had already gone through more challenges than any kid should ever have to.
