In so many ways, taxes have been front and center this past year. From pushing to expand the child tax credit to building up support for Direct File, we are so proud of the movement made in the field in these past few months. For years, Prosperity Now and United Way Worldwide have led the charge to increase annual VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) funding. With your amazing advocacy, we’ve more than doubled VITA funding. But we know more support is needed in our communities around the country.
