Friend, this is exciting news: I've officially filed paperwork to appear on the ballot in Florida's Senate race. 

This is a major milestone in my campaign — and it means that this race has taken a giant leap as we speed toward November. 

But we've still got a long road ahead of us to win. And I know that Rick Scott is capable of pulling out all the stops — including lying about his record on abortion and buying his seat — to defeat me. 

Rick Scott doesn't care about protecting reproductive rights. He doesn't care about hardworking Florida families. And it's crucial we do everything in our power to make sure we defeat him and flip Florida blue. But friend, I can't do it alone. 

Please, if you have anything extra to spare today, I have to ask: Will you chip in to help us win in Florida and defend Democrats' Senate majority? With the Senate on the line, we need all the help we can get.
