John,

Did you have a chance to read this important message?

Jewish students on college campuses across the country are becoming the victims of horrible acts of discrimination. This is horrifying and unacceptable.

I stood up for Maryland’s Jewish community while serving as your governor for eight years, and I’m proud of the accomplishments we shared, but more must be done.

The ongoing acts of discrimination towards Jewish students prove that.

John,

Let me be perfectly clear: acts of violence and harassment against Jews or any group is never a legitimate or peaceful protest.

Over the past weeks, we have seen Jewish students on college campuses become victims of horrible acts of discrimination. They have even been told to go home out of fear of violence.

In fact, there have now been at least 1,000 acts of antisemitic incidents that have been reported on American college campuses since Hamas’ brutal attack on Israel on October 7th.

This is horrifying. There aren’t fine people on both sides when Jewish students are made to fear for their own safety. NO STUDENT should feel threatened or at risk on their own campus.

There are times in history when leaders must STAND UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT, regardless of party affiliation or personal interests. This is one of those times.

Leaders across the political spectrum must unequivocally and unapologetically denounce these antisemitic acts. To do anything else would be a grave disservice to Jewish Americans and embolden hatred even further.

As Passover begins, we are again reminded that there are no permanent victories over persecution, discrimination, and hate. It is up to us to stand up for what is right and fiercely condemn what we know is wrong.

It is critical right now to send a message that antisemitism does not and will never be acceptable in our country amid the ongoing violence and discrimination.

Sadly, our politicians in Washington aren’t doing enough. Actions speak louder than words, but right now they continue to argue with each other instead of doing something to end the violence.

Join me in telling them this is unacceptable.

I recognize some politicians will say and do anything to win an election. But I am not one of them. I’m running for the U.S. Senate not to serve one party but to fix the broken politics in Washington and to fight for ALL MARYLANDERS.

That’s what I did as governor, and it’s exactly how I’ll serve you in the U.S. Senate.

Thank you,

Governor Larry Hogan
A Personal Message from Governor Larry Hogan:

Hi, it’s Governor Larry Hogan.

When I launched my campaign for the U.S. Senate, I did so with a deep resolve to maintain the leadership style and principles that guided me during my eight years as governor.

Fifty years ago, my father, Maryland Congressman Larry Hogan Sr. made a tough decision. He became the first Republican to come out for the impeachment of President Nixon. He put aside party politics and his own personal considerations and stepped up to do the right thing for Maryland and the nation.

Today, Washington is completely broken because that kind of leadership and willingness to put country over party has become far too rare. But it’s not in my nature to sit back and watch the dysfunction continue without doing what I can to roll up my sleeves and get to work.

I’m under no illusion this will be an easy road. But I’m no stranger to uphill battles, and I know I can’t do it without your support.

I don't aspire to be a United States senator. I don’t need a title and I don’t need a job, but I’m more concerned than ever about the direction of the country and I have become more convinced that I can make a difference by taking the approach and style of leadership I had during my eight years as governor to Washington.

It’s no surprise this mindset has made me a target of the Washington partisans. Despite early polls showing a lead, I know I’m the underdog in this race. And that’s why your support TODAY is so crucial.

So if you can chip in a donation of $25 or more, it will go a long way in helping me continue building a strong campaign.

For eight years, we proved that the toxic politics that divide our nation didn’t need to divide our state, and we got results! Let’s get back to work again and send a message to Washington that will be heard loud and clear across the country!

Will you join me today and help end the dysfunction in Washington?
Thank you,

Larry Hogan
