HUGE ALERT: Today, the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a case that will determine if states can deny pregnant people emergency abortion care.

And, recently, the Arizona Supreme Court ruled that a near-total abortion ban from 1864 — before Arizona was even a state — is enforceable.

This Civil War-era Arizona law does not have any exceptions for rape or incest and goes so far as to prosecute and jail anyone who aids with abortions, just like the laws here in Texas.

These cases underscore what we already knew: anti-abortion extremists — like the ones in Texas — aren’t going to stop at overturning Roe v. wade because they're hungry for control of your bodies.

MAGA extremists will continue to systemically dismantle reproductive freedom and access to lifesaving care nationwide.

Congress requires bold leaders that will fight for national protections for women and their care providers. Right now, House Democrats are putting up unapologetic pro-choice candidates across the country, but they need our help to make it to Washington where we can implement real change.

I'm committed to taking back the U.S. House and protecting reproductive care for everyone. And, right now, the House is split by one of the smallest majorities in our nation's history.
