I’m eternally grateful for our fearless health care workers fighting on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
I have spoken with health officials and medical professionals throughout our district to hear their concerns, needs, and expertise on what Congress can do to help.
As they put their health at risk to care for our most vulnerable, it’s crucial that they have protective equipment to keep both themselves and their patients healthy and safe, but many hospitals in our communities are strained as they continue to treat an unprecedented number of patients.
To help, I voted for the Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act -- a bipartisan bill that secured funding for our local hospital system.
For those working on the frontlines of the most significant health pandemic in our lifetimes, the least we can do is provide them with the proper equipment to keep themselves, their patients, and our communities safe.
I’ll continue to fight for these heroes in Congress, but I’m asking for your help in letting them know Coastal Virginia stands with our health care workers as they fight on the frontlines. Will you sign on to show support for health care workers battling COVID-19?
