In June 2024, the Mises Institute will hold its next Mises Book Club, a program that promotes deep reading in Austrian economics.
The reading for this book club will be one of Ludwig von Mises's most popular works: Economic Policy: Thoughts for Today and Tomorrow. This year marks the 45th anniversary of its publication.
This book club will be an excellent starting point for students who are new to Austrian economics, serving as a springboard to Mises’s other works, such as Omnipotent Government, Bureaucracy, Economic Calculation in the Socialist Commonwealth, Theory and History, and Human Action.
A small group of specially selected undergraduate students will discuss Economic Policy with Dr. Karras Lambert over eight weekly virtual meetings starting on June 4. The meetings will be held on Tuesday evenings from 5 to 6 p.m. central time, and students will receive complimentary hard copies of the book.
Please apply for a seat in the Mises Book Club by Friday, May 3. Decisions will be communicated to all applicants by Friday, May 10.
