Hi John, it is Dina.

I want to take a moment to share my personal story with you and remind you why this race is so important. I hope you will take a moment to read, but if you already know you are in this fight with me, will you chip in $10 to my campaign to ensure I can keep delivering for Southern Nevadans in Congress?

In 2022, MAGA extremists spent over $9 MILLION to try and flip NV-01 red. 

Extreme Washington Republicans are determined to defeat me because, John, they know I will always place the needs of Southern Nevadans over their far-right policies and political games.

John, as a little girl I learned the value of service. And without a doubt, I can say that my dedication to fighting for Southern Nevadans comes from my family. 

I am the granddaughter of a Greek immigrant and grew up in a politically active family of proud Democrats in South Georgia. 

I came to Nevada to teach Political Science at UNLV and put theory to practice by running for the State Senate where I was the first woman to serve as Minority Leader. I went on to run for Congress and upon being elected was sworn in on my grandfather's Greek bible. 

Since I came to Congress, I followed the same principle that my family taught me: Help those who need it the most, not those who have the most.

I have carried that mindset with me throughout my service. I made sure that our state received $1 billion in federal funding for laid-off workers during the pandemic. I fought to combat gun violence after we experienced the deadliest mass shooting in modern history. I helped cut prescription drug prices and lower sticker shock at the gas pump. 

Whenever Southern Nevadans need help, I come out swinging.

Southern Nevadans know I am a fighter, but I need grassroots supporters like you in my corner if we are going to win. Can I count on you to give $5, $25 or whatever amount you can spare to build up my campaign and continue the fight in Congress?
