Dear John,
In just over one week, Londoners will head to the polls to elect a new Mayor and new Assembly members. Zoe Garbett, our candidate for Mayor, is making headlines for her passionate and positive campaign, easily outshining the incumbent and the lacklustre, frankly embrassing Tory proposition.
In West Central, our very own Rajiv Sinha has launched the final campaign push, asking for your support with his fundraiser appeal!
May I join his pledge to you: please do support your local party now!
We use the money to print leaflets and pay deposits, all the rest of the work is donated, too, by our amazing candidates and volunteers.
In fact, we are so fabulously active, even Baroness Jenny Jones is now tweeting about us!
In the meantime, our Norland by-election candidate Heloise Hunter is doorknocking in Notting Hill, making sure to remind people that the Green party can win this contest.
This weekend, again, we have a couple of action days lined up for you to join.
27th April in Notting Hill
27th April in Pimlico
You can always get involved at other days, too, by just getting in touch in reply to this email.
With all the best wishes
Yours
Fabian
PS: If you want to experience something really special, why don't join Heloise, Rajiv and many other activists on the 3rd and/or 4th of May in Olympia for the count of the ballot papers. This is where the magic of parliarmentary democracy happens. Truely a special experience and we have a few places left on the guestlist. Just reply to this email if you are intrested.
