Colin Allred for Senate

John, what does the number 7.4 million mean to you?

Probably nothing – but to me, it's come to mean a whole heck of a lot. It's the number of registered voters in Texas who didn't vote in Ted Cruz's last election in 2018 – you know, the one he won by just 2.6%.

A big part of what will determine the outcome of our race against Ted Cruz is going to be reaching those folks and convincing them to turn out.

That's why my No. 1 priority has been getting out on the road, meeting voters in every corner of Texas, and making sure we're building a voter outreach operation like Texas has never seen before. But the phone calls, the pamphlets, the travel, and the TV ads – those costs add up fast.

That's why my team and I set a goal to raise $100,000 by midnight tonight so we can keep funding this critical outreach. But right now, I hate to tell you that we are well behind our goal.

John, can you pitch in $5 right now to power our statewide voter outreach efforts? With Ted Cruz and me polling neck and neck, reaching undecided voters in all 254 Texas counties is crucial. →

When I say voter contact is essential, I'm speaking from experience. In the middle of my 2018 race, experts gave me just a 10% chance of winning. But I beat the odds and defeated a 22-year incumbent by nearly 7 points – all thanks to the grassroots supporters who chipped in to help me get my message out there.

This time around, I'm up against a 12-year incumbent. But I'm here to tell you that Ted Cruz is in trouble. Polling is showing me TIED with Ted Cruz 41-41, but that still leaves a lot of voters who are undecided. How many of those folks our campaign can reach will decide the outcome of this race.

If they don't hear from me, there's a good chance they'll hear from Ted Cruz, and he'll spread vicious attacks about me. But if we can reach enough Texas voters and share our message first, we are going to win this race.

So please, before 11:59 p.m. tonight: Will you give whatever you're able to help me hit my critical $100,000 goal so that we can reach as many undecided voters in Texas as possible and send Ted Cruz packing once and for all?

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing with me.
