• He first ran for office in 1984, when he was on the same ballot as Walter Mondale.

• He voted to raise the gas tax, and didn’t use the money to build roads and bridges.

• He voted to protect sanctuary cities in Wisconsin, which allow municipalities to ignore federal immigration laws.

What else should you know about Peter Barca?

He will have a ton of resources from National Democrats and dark money groups.

In the first 24-hours of his campaign, he raised $250,000.

Dark money groups have already spent $2.3 million attacking me.

Now that Peter Barca has announced his campaign, they’re going to spend millions more attacking me.
