Alternatives to single-use plastics, such as recyclable, compostable, and reusable options, are readily available and effective. Several states have already passed laws to reduce plastic pollution and ban single-use plastic bags – now, we must urge our federal representatives to do it across the country.
Food & Water Action is fighting against these greedy industries to stop plastic pollution by pushing our elected officials to support critical legislation like the Break Free From Plastics Pollution Act. The more voices in the movement, the better!
