Dear Neighbor,
The Legislature is now in the final month of the 2024 legislative session, which is constitutionally required to adjourn May 20.
Many questions remain regarding what bills will reach the finish line between now and then, and what legislation will simply die on the vine. Will the Uber/Lyft leave Minneapolis? Will a retaliation bill against horse racing tracks pass? And will a state senator charged [ [link removed] ] with felony burglary be convicted?
This has been a crazy session. I will do my best to keep you in the loop as developments occur during this chaotic time of year. In the meantime, don't hesitate to share your questions and comments regarding whatever issues are most important to you. With lengthy floor sessions on tap for the coming weeks, you can best reach me by emailing
[email protected].
Until next time, please stay in touch.
Sincerely,
Nolan
