John,
In this critical election year, it’s more important than ever that we protect and expand our Democratic majority in the U.S. House of Representatives.
DFA-endorsed candidates Jon Hoadley and Mike Siegel are progressive champions running for Congress to unseat longtime Republican incumbents. They both support Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, and comprehensive criminal justice reform.
Jon has led the fight for big, bold, progressive ideas on behalf of Michiganders in the state house for years -- and he has what it takes to defeat out-of-touch 17-term Republican incumbent Fred Upton in November.
Mike is a former public school teacher and employment lawyer in Texas who came within inches of defeating Republican Congressman Mike McCaul in 2018. With DFA member support this time around, he will make up the difference and flip this seat blue in November.
Listen, we all know Republicans aren’t going to go down without a fight. They will spend whatever it takes to try and defeat progressive change.
That means Jon and Mike are going to need all the help they can get in their fights to flip these seats.
So we’re asking: Can you split a contribution between Jon Hoadley, Mike Siegel and DFA today? Anything you’re able to contribute will help expand the Democratic majority in the House and fight for progressive change:

These are hard times for many of us and it's difficult to think about the future as we try and get by day by day, but these elections will happen in November despite the virus. And if this pandemic has made one thing clear, it's that leadership matters. From the President to Congress to Governor and all the way down to District Attorney and City Council, who's in charge can be a matter of life and death.
That's why we're asking even in this time of crisis. With your support, we'll keep fighting to defeat Republicans and expand the Democratic majority in the House of Representatives.
Stay safe and healthy,
— Charles
