There are internal priorities that we handle ourselves every day, like the
budget and the schedule. But then there are everyone else’s priorities —
the ones we can’t control, but could very well determine the outcome of
this election.

defeat Josh Hawley and elect Lucas Kunce this year, please let me tell you
more about the situation we have going on in Missouri.

Going into this election cycle, DC insiders knew Josh Hawley was
vulnerable. He was coming down from his stunt on January 6th, which rocked
his approval ratings, fundraising, and in-state support base so much that
several of his former mentors and mega-donors publicly abandoned his
campaign.

But that wasn’t the only reason. Since Hawley’s last election, Missourians
have voted overwhelmingly to take back their power by approving ballot
measures to raise the minimum wage (2018), expand healthcare (2020), and
legalize weed (2022) — signaling a clear break from the control-obsessed
politicians like Hawley who’ve taken it upon themselves to rule over our
lives.

With all this information, those insiders decided to make Missouri’s U.S.
Senate race their top defensive target in 2024. They knew Hawley was weak
running against a real warrior for working people like Lucas Kunce, so
they’ve prioritized our race — doing, saying, and spending whatever it
takes to prop up Hawley and tear Lucas down before voters head to the
polls this November.

We’ve seen it since literally the first day of this race, when they called
Lucas “unhinged” for wanting to take on a coward like Hawley. And we’ve
seen it every quarter since, as they transferred millions directly into
Hawley’s campaign.

They know just as well as we do — Hawley is vulnerable, and this election
is our opportunity to defeat him and flip Missouri’s U.S. Senate seat.

Now here’s where things get complicated. With so many incumbents in tough
races across the country this cycle, Missouri just hasn’t been a priority
for the groups we’d typically see shoring up support for campaigns like
ours.

That’s why we need your help,
John. If enough people like you decide to
prioritize our race here in Missouri — which data shows is our most
competitive and affordable chance to flip a U.S. Senate seat — we’ll be
able to pull this off, defeat Josh Hawley, and elect Lucas Kunce this
November.

I’m not kidding. Missouri has a smaller electorate and cheaper media
markets than other states with targeted flip opportunities, like Texas and
Florida. And multiple polls have already shown Lucas and Hawley in a
statistical tie for this Senate seat.
