This may be the top open seat in the country - but it won’t be easy. I’m running against Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s top political ally and she’s working hard to help him raise money. Last quarter, he raised an incredible $1.3 million - with more than $500,000 coming from Whitmer donors in New York, and hundreds of thousands from Silicon Valley and Hollywood. The differences between me and my progressive opponent could not be more clear:
Illegal immigration: I want to finish The Wall and deport anyone here illegally - my opponent calls illegal immigrants “law abiding citizens” and even supported making Lansing a “sanctuary city.”
Taxes: I am the only candidate running who has signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge and have a long record opposing taxes - my opponent supported increases in income and property taxes and even supported Gov. Whitmer’s 45¢ per gallon gas tax increase!
Inflation: I oppose out-of-control government spending and had a 99% voting record in the state legislature against corporate welfare - my opponent was the architect of the largest budget in Michigan history and voted for billions in new spending.
Israel: When I was stationed at Guantanamo Bay, I looked eye-to-eye with the same terrorists who attacked Israel on October 7th - my opponent has been silent on Israel and even cancelled a scheduled appearance before a Jewish student group at Michigan State.
