Friend of Trust for Public Land,

It’s been almost a week, and I am still riding high on the feeling of having TPL advocates from across the country join me in Washington, DC, for Day on the Hill. Together, we carried a critical message to lawmakers: that the joys and benefits of the outdoors should be available to all people!
For a sense of the energy and enthusiasm we felt as we met with elected officials, listen to the latest episode of TPL’s podcast—recorded live from Day on the Hill.

Highlights from TPL’s Day on the Hill:
|
• | | Held over 90 meetings with elected officials to discuss the importance of the Outdoors for All Act and its impact on communities nationwide. |
• | | Delivered over 8,200 signatures urging elected officials to champion this legislation. |
• | | Showed up in force. More than 100 advocates representing 24 states met with congressional offices to express their commitment to expanding outdoor access for all. |

This moment demands our optimism and our energy
. . . clean air, clean water, public lands are a uniting mantra we can all believe in. Don’t for a moment underestimate your impact."
- Senator John W. Hickenlooper, Colorado
