John, activists have spent 100 years fighting to add the Equal Rights Amendment to our Constitution. This long-overdue amendment would establish that our civil rights cannot be infringed upon or taken away on the basis of gender.

Now that the Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade, far-right legislators have unleashed a slew of attacks against our reproductive rights and our right to privacy. Passing the ERA is our best bet to restore those crucial rights — and we can't wait a moment longer.

Polling shows 85% of voters support the ERA — and 38 states have ratified it, clearing the way to add it to the Constitution. But an arbitrary deadline is stopping us from finally certifying this amendment!
