Hi John,
A child’s first steps. That first wiggly tooth. The first time they smile
or laugh. Every parent deserves to see ‘first’ moments like these.
Since 2000, the world - together with US support - has made remarkable
progress in preventing more than 17 million deaths from preventable
diseases like pneumonia, hepatitis, and HPV. That’s 17 million more
‘firsts,’ big and small.
When kids are protected from infectious diseases, they can go to school,
their parents can go to work, and their community can thrive.
But this doesn’t mean we can sit on our heels. Because of growing global
conflicts, displacement, and COVID-19-related disruptions, some 20.5
million children missed out on life-saving vaccines in 2022.

that all parents are up to date on their children's routine vaccination
schedule.
This December (that’s a lot sooner than you think!) world leaders will
gather to announce just how much they’ll pledge to fund global vaccine
programs over the next few years.
You don’t need to be a parent to know that all kids deserve a shot at
life. [ [link removed] ]If you agree that we must do everything we can to end preventable

Leading up to the big event, we’ll be in contact with more opportunities
to take action. Stay tuned.
