John,
The polls have closed and the race has been called: SUMMER LEE JUST WON HER PRIMARY IN PENNSYLVANIA’S 12TH DISTRICT.
So many voters turned out to make their voices heard:
No more bailouts for the billionaire class and corporate giants.
No more starvation wages, predatory housing markets, and skyrocketing health care costs for working families.
No more unconditional funding for an immoral war.
And no amount of support from billionaire mega-donors and dark-money super PACs will intimidate us.
Tonight, we celebrate. But we also need to turn our attention to our other champions in Congress who are under threat, starting with Jamaal Bowman in New York whose primary is on June 25th. Jamaal’s Republican-funded primary challenger already has $3 million in his war chest, and polls show a dead-even race.
So please make a split donation this evening to Jamaal Bowman and WFP. We know for a fact that Republican billionaires and groups like AIPAC are going to keep pouring cash into the race to unseat him. And we need a head start YESTERDAY if we want to out-organize them.

We also wanted to say, sincerely, THANK YOU. From the bottom of our hearts. What we achieved tonight is monumentally impressive.
Together, our volunteers and staff made over 55,000 calls to voters in her district.
And we proudly marched shoulder-to-shoulder with dozens of labor unions and progressive organizations nationwide to overcome attacks from GOP mega-donors help make this win a reality.
But we know who is next in the sights of Republican billionaires trying to unseat the Squad. They’ve already spent $900,000 against Jamaal Bowman — and tonight’s results are bound to make them spend even more.
Let’s make sure we don’t lose any momentum from tonight’s victory. Split a donation between Jamaal Bowman and WFP tonight. It’s VITAL that we make sure we have the resources we need to protect all of our champions in Congress.
Thank you, John. Tonight is the first of many wins in 2024 — but only if we keep putting in the work.
In solidarity,
Working Families Party
