Dear Friend,
I wanted to make sure you saw this important message from Rich. Voting couldn’t be more important right now, but the Coronavirus outbreak is forcing many Americans to stay away from the polls and putting election workers’ health at risk.
All Americans need to be able to vote by mail.
28 states have no-excuse absentee voting and 3 states conduct all elections via a vote by mail system. But that means residents in 19
states will be forced to choose between their health and exercising their right to vote unless states act now.
Thanks for your activism.

Subject: Don’t Let Coronavirus Threaten Democracy
Dear Friend,
Election workers are wary. Some states have postponed their spring primary elections, and more are expected to follow suit.
At a time when voting couldn’t be more important, the coronavirus outbreak has thrown a monkey wrench into our election systems.
There is a simple way to make sure everyone can vote -- by giving all Americans the right to vote by mail.
28 states already have no-excuse absentee voting and 3 states conduct all elections via a vote-by-mail system. But in 19 states voters either don’t have a vote-by-mail option or can only vote absentee with a designated excuse. The time for action is now.
Everyone hopes the danger from coronavirus passes by November. But we can’t count on that. No one should have to choose between exercising their fundamental right to vote and putting their health at risk.
Vote-by-mail works. Now is the time for each of our 50 states to have a vote-by-mail option.
Sincerely,
Richard Fiesta
