Idaho becomes the fifth state to implement IWV’s Women’s Bill of Rights and several others are next in line.
Friend,
I want to update you on some encouraging progress with Independent Women’s Voice’s Women’s Bill of Rights. Our work has helped define ‘woman’ in five states impacting 13+ million women and whose states now have the right to offer single-sex spaces and opportunities.

Our model legislation first became law in four states in 2023—Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Tennessee, with momentum continuing to build in 2024. Recently, Idaho’s WBOR-inspired bill was signed into law ([link removed]) by Gov. Brad Little, making Idaho the fifth state to take a firm stance against radical gender ideology and preserve women’s rights and opportunities.

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

There is so much more work to be done, and we’re pushing forward! Our model is running in several other states. In the last few weeks the Women’s Bill of Rights achieved full passage in the Arizona and Mississippi ([link removed]) Legislatures. Tragically, for the 3.6 million Arizona women, Gov. Katie Hobbs vetoed the bill—pandering to radical gender ideology over the protection of women’s rights.

Despite Gov. Hobbs’ careless veto, legislators have been working across the aisle to pass the Women’s Bill of Rights. In Mississippi, it received bipartisan support in both chambers and it also passed with bipartisan support in the Alabama House and is headed to the Senate this week.

We’re applauding the Democrats and Republicans who are supporting this critical and common sense legislation and voting ‘YAY’ to STANDING WITH WOMEN.

Our work isn’t done. While we’re celebrating our victories, we’re forging ahead with our Women’s Bill of Rights. With legislative sessions near adjournment, time is of the essence and we need your support more than ever Friend. YOU can help initiate change.

Will you please advance our critical legislative work through a donation of $5, $50, $75, $150, or more to Independent Women’s Voice? Every dollar counts right now and we need your support to ensure we have the resources to push each bill over the finish line.
DONATE NOW ([link removed])
So much will be happening over the next couple of days and weeks. I look forward to updating you again soon.

Best,
Jordanne Kemper
