Polls just closed in Pennsylvania where my friend, Bob Casey, is on the ballot in today's primary election.

Primary elections are a huge moment for campaigns – an opportunity to kick fundraising off strong headed into the general election. But I’m concerned. An article in The Philadelphia Inquirer from late last week reveals that Bob’s GOP opponent currently leads him in fundraising, thanks to a massive Republican SuperPAC.

So I’m personally asking: Will you split $5 to help Bob Casey fight back against his opponent’s fundraising haul? [link removed]

This race is shaping up to be one of the most competitive and expensive Senate races on the map. The GOP is going to continue to spend big in Pennsylvania to try and defeat Bob and take back the Senate.

I’m counting on grassroots supporters like you to step up to help Bob capitalize on this primary election momentum. This is a moment we don’t want to miss. And I can guarantee you the GOP is saying the same exact thing. We can expect Bob’s opponent to put up even bigger numbers after the primary today.
