John -- we don't have a nemesis, but if we did, it would be Leonard Leo and his Federalist Society. No single person, no single group has been more responsible for the deep conservative lurch to the right in our courts than his dark money network is.

Politico: What happens when an AG dares to investigate Leonard Leo’s network [[link removed]]
Washington, D.C., Attorney General Brian Schwalb is finding out what happens when people investigate the powerful conservative legal activist Leonard Leo. But the results put our people-powered movement in stark relief to their decades of work.
Who is Leonard Leo? Good question. he's been a fixture in Republican politics for decades, building a dark money web of secretive organizations to influence our country. Leo is the co-chair of the ultra-conservative judicial organization, the Federalist Society , and has been called former President Donald Trump’s “court whisperer” for helping to choose and advocate for his federal and Supreme Court nominees.
His network of tax-exempt nonprofits is also a major contributor to Project 2025, an initiative seeking to create a “government in waiting” for another Trump term . Beyond its work in promoting the conservative legal movement, his billion-dollar network of nonprofits has funded conservative media, Republican attorneys general and the campaign funds of leading congressional figures.
Now his conservative allies are turning the full force of their efforts against D.C.'s AG as he investigates Leo for violating financial regulations and possibly funneling money to himself and colleagues through Leo's for-profit consulting business.
Reading the news coming out of this investigation highlights exactly how much work we need to do to catch up and stop their extremist GOP judge pipeline, John.
We're begging you to help fuel our work to fight back. John: Chip in $25 or more to stop this extreme dark money conservative movement in its tracks before it's too late >>> [[link removed]]

In the wake of Donald Trump's presidency, we've seen hard-right judges stacked on the Supreme Court, federal courts, and state courts across the country, delivering devastating rulings that have weakened voting rights, gun reforms, climate protections, and completely overturned abortion rights.
We must fight back and put more Democrats on the courts. [[link removed]]
The Senate is the only body which can confirm federal judges and as such, Democratic control of the Senate is crucial to shaping judicial appointments. We must ensure the Senate stays in Democratic hands in 2024.
And in the states, we must pour resources into often highly contested judicial races that get little attention, but that have a wide influence on the daily lives of Americans.
Progress Courts PAC is working every day to hold the Senate and help elect progressive judges across the country, and we need your help.
