Brad just clinched a MAJOR win for workers’ rights, John.

After a lengthy, multi-year investigation and audit, the Comptroller’s Office won $2.7 MILLION in back wages for health care office workers contracted by NYC Health and Hospitals.

This monumental settlement was reached with Winston Support Services – a company that misclassified hundreds of temporary workers so they could get away with paying them less than the prevailing wage.

This resulted in millions of dollars in underpayments. In fact, one worker was shorted nearly $100,000! With leaders like Brad, New York is – and always will be – a labor town.

Will you stand with Brad Lander and contribute any amount you can today to support his efforts? With your help, he’ll continue working toward a future where everyone has access to fair wages and dignified work. [[link removed]]

Brad is unafraid to stand up to companies like Winston and hold them accountable for their negligence. In fact, the Office of the Comptroller has recovered over $8 million in back wages and civil penalties owed to workers since 2022!

Stay tuned for more updates on how Brad is vigorously enforcing prevailing wage requirements to protect workers' rights and hold employers accountable.

Thanks,

Team Lander
