Donald Trump recently endorsed Tammy Baldwin’s far-right megamillionaire opponent, Eric Hovde. Honestly, that probably tells you everything you need to know about the guy.

But let’s assume you wanted to know more about who Eric Hovde really is. Well, we’ll let his own words speak for themselves:

➡️ Hovde an anti-abortion extremist and has said he’s “totally opposed to abortion.” And if elected, he’d enable Republicans to pass a bill to ban abortion nationwide.

➡️ And earlier this month, he said that he doesn’t think people in nursing homes are “at a point to vote” and shouldn't be allowed to cast a ballot.

➡️ He’s also said that being overweight is a choice and proposed that people who struggle with obesity should be forced to pay more for their health care.

➡️ He blamed societal problems on women and single mothers, saying kids raised in single-parent homes are on “a direct path to a life of poverty.”

➡️ He even said he believes that farmers don’t work hard anymore and “largely drive around a tractor.” Yikes.

If you take one thing from Hovde’s own comments, let it be this: Eric Hovde looks down on hardworking Wisconsinites, and he is unfit to represent us in the Senate.

As wrong as Hovde is for Wisconsin, he’s outspending our campaign and has already eliminated the polling gap in this neck-and-neck race.
