The Democratic effort to flip the most competitive seat for Democrats in the nation, NY-04, presently faces a life or death moment.
We promise we aren't being overdramatic. Here's why:
We are in the home stretch of finishing our signature collection process to get on the ballot in our district. However, right-wing PACs and dark money donors are pouring in millions of dollars into our race to bog us down in a costly courtroom battle where they will attempt to throw out every signature of ours that they can in hopes of getting us to burn money on legal fees and keep us from making the ballot.
The fact that Republicans are throwing so much weight into keeping us off of the ballot shows that we are a credible threat to our GOP opponent. Which is why they are using every trick in the book to try to make sure that New York voters never get the opportunity to vote for us.
John, can we count on you to rush a contribution of whatever you can spare to help us weather this coming legal battle and ensure that we can make it onto the ballot to challenge NY-04's Republican incumbent?
