I am deeply troubled to share some distressing news regarding our efforts to hold the Biden Administration accountable. 
 

Last week, the Senate dismissed the articles of impeachment for Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, despite clear evidence of his failure to enforce our border laws. This disappointing decision strikes another severe blow to our national security and undermines the rule of law.

Mayorkas's actions, or lack thereof, have directly contributed to the chaos and insecurity plaguing our border communities — including Arizona’s 6th District. As members of the communities living on the front lines, we witness the devastating reality of an uncontrolled border in our everyday lives. 

The immediate dismissal of these articles is unacceptable; it is an outright betrayal of the safety and well-being of our community. 

We cannot afford to turn a blind eye to misconduct within the highest levels of government, especially when the consequences are felt so acutely in our communities.
