Hi, The atrocities in Gaza and Israel’s violations of international humanitarian law continue. Yet, Congress and President Biden are ready to send Israel more bombs and unconditional funding. A mass grave of at least 300 Palestinians was just found at a hospital in the Gazan city of Khan Younis.1 1 million Palestinians currently face unprecedented famine while Israel blocks humanitarian aid. Israel has killed more than 30,000 Palestinian civilians and at least 200 aid workers since October 7. With all this suffering, how can Congress and President Biden send more offensive security assistance and no-strings-attached funding to the Netanyahu regime? The House already voted to fund further complicity with Israel’s violence in Gaza, but the Senate still has a chance to say No. Failure by Congress and President Biden to stop the flow of weapons and taxpayer dollars to Israel right now would be horrific. How can our elected leaders remain complicit in the starvation of innocent people and the continued airstrikes against Palestinian civilians? Hamas's attacks beginning on October 7 must be condemned, but Israel's response has been disproportionate and taken an extraordinary civilian toll. State Department staff has even recommended sanctions against Israeli military units for breaking humanitarian law — but our leaders haven’t acted on this information.2 And it’s against U.S. law to provide funding to countries in direct breach of humanitarian law. The Senate must vote against further arming the regime responsible for so many deaths and so much suffering in Gaza. Add your name: No offensive security assistance for Israel! Thanks for taking action, Sources:
