Thank you, Volunteers!

Thanks to the dedication of volunteers like you, we are able to serve thousands of families and individuals in our community who are experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, or substance use disorder. Through the support of individuals, organizations, and businesses who choose to volunteer with Families in Transition, we are one step closer to preventing and breaking the cycle of homelessness.

Volunteer Impact in 2023

"This was such a rewarding experience. The Families in Transition team is doing such terrific work at the Food Pantry, and it was eye-opening to see what an impact I can make in only a few hours. There are so many in need, and every person who came into the Pantry was incredibly grateful for its existence. I look forward to volunteering as much as possible."

- Lisa C., Families in Transition Volunteer

Faces of Volunteering

Whether hosting an activity night at our Family Emergency Shelter, stocking shelves at the Food Pantry, sorting donations at Outfitters, or giving our participants a much-needed haircut, volunteers always show up with a smile on their faces!
